When your eats are touchdown-worthy, it doesn't matter who wins or loses!
Watching the Super Bowl (February 11, 2024) makes us extra ravenous. Maybe it’s watching the athletes hustle, all the angry yelling at the TV we’re doing, or the nail-biting anxiety we have over who’s going to win...whatever it is, if this sounds like you too, don't leave things up to chance this year.
Instead, make this year a winner with plenty of Super Bowl-friendly food to keep you going the whole game (or at least until the halftime-show). These Super Bowl party apps, snacks, desserts, and more will make sure you and your guests don’t go hungry this year. From dips to sliders, wings to desserts, your tailgate (or home-gate) is bound to have you feeling like you scored a touchdown.
And did we mention how easy they are? We know not everyone’s got the patience to construct mini appetizers, and luckily, you don’t have to. When we’re short on time, we love the trick of making one large sandwich out of a Bundt pan, making a casserole out of classics like chili dogs or tater tots, or throwing together a big pot of chili that everyone can enjoy. There’s also nothing easier than nachos, but even something simple like chips with queso is a classic for a reason. Grab some disposable serving ware, and you’ll be party-ready in no time.
Hosts with the most, don’t fret! We’ve got tons of bite-size options for you too, from Buffalo wings to the ever-popular pigs in a blanket. Nothing screams Super Bowl like sliders, and ours think outside the box, from Philly cheesesteak to French dip to a pull-apart cheeseburger. Speaking of outside the box, we’re also pretty obsessed with unconventional egg rolls. Our new favorite is filled with meatball sub ingredients, and makes for the perfect handheld party food.
When you really want to impress, we recommend going with something football-shaped—truly, is there anything cuter? We’ve got a loaded football cheese ball, a pigskin in a blanket, a pepperoni football, and a kale-artichoke bread bowl here, but we’re also particularly fond of it in dessert form. Check out our football brownies, cupcakes, cookies, or football cake to see why.
Want even more game day options? Now you’ve got the food all set, don’t forget about Super Bowl drinks too!

Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers
Jalapeño poppers are one of the easiest, most satisfying party apps. Mix cream cheese with pepper Jack, stuff it in jalapeños, and wrap it all in bacon. In the oven, the cheese gets hot and melty and the peppers mellow slightly. The combination is PERFECT.
Chipotle Pulled Pork
This pulled pork is saucy and spicy, but don't worry, the creamy coleslaw helps calm the heat. Pile it high on some hamburger buns or serve it in toasted tortillas for a change. Either way, this will be an instant win.
Get the Chipotle Pulled Pork recipe.
Loaded Potato Skins
We expect nothing less than fully loaded from our potato skins. What does "fully loaded" mean to us? If it's topped with cheddar, sour cream, bacon, and scallions (or chives), it's loaded. Examples include (but are CERTAINLY not limited to): loaded mashed potatoes, loaded pickle chips, and loaded zucchini skins.
Get the Loaded Potato Skins recipe.
Super Bread Bowl Dip
Class up the traditional spinach-artichoke dip by swapping in everyone's favorite superfood: kale. For game day, we baked this delicious dip in a football-shaped bread bowl, but it's just as delicious without it (so you can make it year round!).
Get the Super Bread Bowl Dip recipe.
Ranch Wings
If the best (undebatable) wing flavor and sauce combination is hot Buffalo wings and ranch dip, then it stands to reason that a ranch wing with hot Buffalo dip would be equally delicious—right? Damn right.

The steps are simple for this foolproof app: Start with your favorite ravioli (store-bought are just fine here), coat them in eggs and bread crumbs, then fry—either in hot oil or in your air fryer. Bacon Spinach Dip
We love baked spinach dip more than we like to admit (if it were up to us, we'd have dip for dinner), and this is one of our faves. The smoky bacon bits make it feel extra fancy, but feel free to skip for vegetarians. It's got enough going on with the three types of cheese.

Pigs In A Blanket
There's something very classic about the crescent roll dough flavor, so we tend to gravitate toward it, but puff pastry or even biscuit dough both should work here too.

Cincinnati Chili
The flavors of this meat sauce are more evocative of Greek dishes, like moussaka and pastitsio, than other chilis, but what really makes this dish extra-special is how it’s served: atop a plate of SPAGHETTI. Trust us, your crowd is going to love it.
Get the Cincinnati Chili recipe.
